MIDDLETOWN, R.I. -- The Buccaneers men's lacrosse team was undefeated heading into their non-conference matchup with the 7-1 Salve Regina Seahawks on Wednesday. Salve went on to hand the Bucs their first loss of the season by a final of 18-11.

• Chilton Cabot led the Buccaneers with three goals in the game. Cooper Barrett and Joe Vricella scored two goals. Jo Lothrop, James Sullivan, Cooper McIntire, and Braeden Kosiewicz all scored once.
• McIntire led the Bucs with three assists in the game. Sullivan and Josiewicz had two each. Daniel Kane had one assist.

• Naglieri led all players with seven ground ball pickups.
• Adam Laber won 11-of-22 faceoffs and Nate Strassberger won 7-of-9.
• Defensively, Naglieri caused four turnovers in the win.
• In total, Salve Regina picked up 36 ground balls, were successful on 20-of-22 clearances, won 18-of-31 faceoffs, and took 52 shots in the game.
