WESTFIELD, Mass -- Sunday afternoon, the MASCAC released their weekly football awards and Buccaneer senior quarterback Marc Murphy has been selected as the conference's Offensive Player of the week for his performance in a 25-17 Bucs win over Worcester State on Saturday.

Murphy completed 22 of 32 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns in the win over the Lancers. He threw a 75-yard touchdown to Ja'iel Johnson and two touchdowns to fellow senior captain Evan Dyer. 

Murphy is fourth in the conference in passing yards per game with 223.0 and is four in passing touchdowns in the league with 13.

The Buccaneers are back home next Saturday, October 22nd, for a conference game against the West Conn Wolves at 12pm.
