WESTFIELD, Mass – Coming off of a strong showing in Fitchburg last weekend, the Buccaneer women's track team took to the road to compete at the Gravel Invitational Meet at Westfield State earlier today. In their final meet of the season the Bucs posted a second place finish and two third place finishes in three separate events. 

Alyssa Greico (Revere, Ma) continued her impressive rookie campaign in the hurdle events finishing second in the 400 meters with a time of 1:12.07 in the finals, which is a new program record, and a third place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.60.

Junior captain Camryn Boyce (Whitman, Ma) took home a third place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a final time of 14:37.94.

Freshmen Victoria Boss (Whitman, Ma) and Kaila Collins (Kingston, Ma) posted top ten finishes in the 400 meter dash, eighth and ninth respectively, with time of 1:12.64 and 1:13.47.

Though the season has ended for the women's track team, they impressed the Maritime community with their performances in Fitchburg and Westfield this spring.
