Poh Earns Second Straight Division III All-New England Honor With Fifth Place Finish In Discus At Division III New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Massachusetts Maritime senior Zach Poh earned Division III All-New England honors for a second straight season on Saturday afternoon after posting a fifth place individual finish at the 2015 Division III New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by MIT in Cambridge, Mass.

Poh, a native of Bridgewater, Mass. and a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, tossed a mark of 43.55 meters (142 feet, 10 ¾ inches) on his second attempt of the competition, which was won by Sean Enos of Bates with a mark of 51.99 meters (170 feet, 7 inches).  Poh’s effort marked the third straight season that a Buccaneer had claimed Division III all-New England accolades in the discus, as former Massachusetts Maritime standout Robert Gratzer also accomplished the feat back in 2013.
