WESTFIELD, Mass -- Monday morning, the MASCAC announced their weekly award. On the Women's Lacrosse side of things, Buccaneers junior captain Cassie Llewellyn was selected as the conference Player of the Week.

Cassie scored 12 times this week for the Bucs with five goals in the team's 16-2 win over Rhode Island College and five in their 13-12 win over Husson. She also had four assists, two in each game, with 11 ground balls, 18 draw controls, with a program record 11 draw controls against Husson, and cause two turnovers in the 2-0 week for the Bucs.

Llewellyn and the Bucs are off until Sunday, March 19th when they will travel to New Hampshire to take on Keene State at 3pm.
