Buccaneers Voted 5th in Preseason Poll
WESTFIELD, Mass -- Wednesday afternoon, the Massachuetts State Collegiate Athletics Conference released its 2023 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll as voted on by the eight head coaches. The Buccaneers were voted to finish 5th this season.
In 2022, Coach Palombo's squad finished 6th in the conference with a 2-5 conference record and a 9-8 overall record. Their 9-8 record was the second above .500 in team history and the second since 2019, the team's last full season prior to 2022.
In their MASCAC quaterfinal appearance against Worcester State, the Buccaneers were knocked off by the lancers 15-5 ending their season.
