Lennon Earns Second Team All-Pilgrim Lacrosse League Honors As Long Stick Midfielder

Massachusetts Maritime men’s lacrosse senior standout Jake Lennon was named to the 2013 Pilgrim Lacrosse League All-Conference squad that was announced earlier this afternoon after a vote of the league’s seven coaches.

A native of Bourne, Mass. and a graduate of Bourne High School, Lennon earned second-team all-Pilgrim honors as a long stick midfielder, as he netted a goal and four assists for five points on offense while tying for the team lead in caused turnovers with 12.  A co-captain for the Buccaneers this spring, Lennon ranked second on the team with 51 ground balls while also winning 10 face-offs.

Massachusetts Maritime posted five overall victories under third-year Head Coach Rory Deegan this season, including a three-match winning streak in mid-April as well as an 11-10 Admiral’s Cup triumph over rival Maine Maritime on March 24th.
