Velzis Earns D3Baseball.com All-Region Honors
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- He was named to the All-MASCAC Second Team, received CSC Academic All-District Honors and now Brett Velzis has has earned an D3baseball.com All-Region selection on the Region 2 Third Team.
Velzis batted .385 this season with a .480 on-base percentage. He racked up 55 hits with 10 doubles, three triples, and a career-high nine home runs and drove in 37 runs while scoring 42 times. During the MASCASC Playoffs Brett hit his ninth home run of the season which also marked his 100th career hit in a Bucs uniform.
