MILTON, Mass. --  Junior Taylor Evans (Middleton, Mass.) netted a pair of goals and two assists for six points to lead Curry to a 9-0 non-league college women’s soccer victory over Massachusetts Maritime Tuesday evening at Katz Field.

Evans collected her two tallies in the opening 10:12 of action for the host Colonels (11-4), as her markers sandwiched goals by senior Meredith Keith (San Jose, Calif.) just 1:24 into the contest and by freshman Amanda Crisfulla (Raynham, Mass.) with 43 seconds remaining in the opening half.  Freshman Ashley Bottis (Rutland, Mass.) added a pair of second half scores for Curry, which used four tallies in less than nine minutes of action early after intermission to ice its triumph.

Sophomores Kaitlyn Lima (New Bedford, Mass.) and Kelly Parker (Branford, Conn.) each added a goal and an assist in the win for the Colonels, who also received a marker from senior Mary Blythe (Montpelier, Vt.).  Sophomore Morgan Stott (Dartmouth, Mass.) picked up the win in goal for Curry with four saves in the opening 71 minutes of action, while Evans came on to make one stop in the final 19 minutes of play.  Junior Katie Levesque (Wilmot, N.H.) made nine first half saves in the setback for the visiting Buccaneers (3-7-3), which received a pair of second half stops from freshman Stephanie Hunt (Brookfield, Conn.).  The Colonels outshot Massachusetts Maritime by a 27-6 margin and took four of the five corner kicks for the contest.

Massachusetts Maritime heads to Bridgewater, Mass. on Saturday afternoon to take on Bridgewater State in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference match that begins at Noon, while Curry hosts Gordon in a Commonwealth Coast Conference clash on Saturday morning at Katz Field beginning at 11:00 a.m.
