Driscoll Re-elected As MASCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Vice President

Massachusetts Maritime junior women’s soccer and softball standout Brittany Driscoll has been re-elected as vice president of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in a vote of the league’s student-athlete representatives.

A native of Spencer, Mass. and a graduate of Holy Name High School, Driscoll is a three-year letterwinner on the pitch for the Buccaneers and has earned a pair of letters on the softball diamond.  She also serves as vice president of Massachusetts Maritime’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and has assisted in the coordination of the organization’s fundraising and outreach efforts during her matriculation at the Academy.  The 2014-15 academic year will mark her second in the conference SAAC vice presidential position.

Driscoll will serve alongside Fitchburg State’s Tori Cyrus, who was elected as the MASCAC SAAC President, in the conference’s cabinet, as Cyrus replaced former conference SAAC president and Buccaneer baseball standout Chris Gallagher ’14 in that role.
