Men's Cross Country Finishes 17th in Regular Season Finale

BOSTON, Mass -- In the team's final regular season tune-up before the MASCAC Championship meet, the Buccaneers men's cross country team finished 17th at the Suffolk Invitational in Bostons.

Captain Ben Tuttle finished 93rd overall out of a field of 228 runners as the top finisher for the Bucs with a time of 31:28. Thomas Mondeau was the second place finisher for the Buccaneers, 104th overall at 32:09. Right behind Mondeau in 105th was Lukas Janulaitis coming in at 32:32. Rounding out the Maritime top five was Thomas Hayes and McArthur Dannelly with times of 33:34 and 36:26. 

The Buccaneers finished 17th overall in a field of 22 teams. They beat out Regis for 17th by 66 points. Norwich finished ahead of them with 399 points. The Bucs runner averaged 33:14 on the course with a total time of 2:46:09.

Nick Ingeme and Anthony Childs were the sixth and seventh place finishers for Maritime with times of 37:08 and 37:54.

The Buccaneers will be off next week and then take part in the MASCAC Championship meet on Saturday, October 29th.
