WESTFIELD, Mass -- Men's cross country competed at the Jame Early Invitational at Westfield State on Saturday in what could be a preview of the MASCAC Championships in a few weeks as every MASCAC school competed in the meet. The Buccaneers top five finishers combined for 696 total points and a 23rd place finish overall. 

Ben Tuttle finished first for the Bucs in 129th overall, 118th in points with a time of 30:01.04. Thomas Mondeau finished second for Maritime in 146th, 135th in points, with a final time of 30:44.64. Rounding out the top three was Nick Tereshko in 155th, 141st in points, coming in at 31:17.08.

In the JV race, Grayson Duval was the top Buc in 133rd with a time of 37:02.58.

The Buccaneers are at Suffolk University next Saturday, October 15th, for their next meet.
