BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- The Buccaneer men's and women's cross country team host the 17th Annual Travis J. Fuller Invitational on Saturday on the campus of the Academy. The men's team, led by Lukas Janulaitis, finished second overall in the meet to Nichols College.

Janulaitis finished fourth overall in the mett with a time of 30:24.00. Ben Tuttle was the next Buc to cross in sixth place with a final time of 32:00.00. Finishing third for Maritime was Thomas Mondeau with a time of 32:16.00.

The Buccaneers placed fourth, sixth, seventh, ninth and 12th with their top five runners to take second place with 38 points behind Nichols. The Bison had four of the top five runners and their fifth runner, for scoring, finished in eighth. 

The Buccaneers next meet will be on Saturday, October 8th at Westfield State for the James Early Invitational.
