Football Gears Up For 10-Game Slate In Cameron's 13th Campaign At Helm This Fall

Summer fun is in full swing on Cape Cod, and as waves crash ashore under the hot sun, preparations continue for the 2017 Buccaneer football season that kicks off in less than two months.

 

Head Coach Jeremy Cameron will once again tackle a 10-game slate during his 13th campaign at the helm, as the 45th season of Massachusetts Maritime football begins on Friday, September 8th when the Buccaneers entertain SUNY-Maritime in the 10th Annual Chowder Bowl at Clean Harbors Stadium that kicks off at 7:00 pm EDT.  Cameron’s crew will also host Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference foes Fitchburg State (Saturday, September 30th), Plymouth State (Saturday, October 21st) and UMass Dartmouth (Saturday, November 4th) on Taylor’s Point before wrapping up regular season play by welcoming rival Bridgewater State to the banks of the Cape Cod Canal for the 39th Annual Ocean Spray Cranberry Bowl on Saturday, November 11th.

 

The Buccaneers hit the road for the 45th Annual Admiral’s Cup clash with Maine Maritime on Saturday, September 16th, and Massachusetts Maritime will also travel to Framingham State (Saturday, September 23rd), Westfield State (Saturday, October 7th), Western Connecticut (Saturday, October 14th) and Worcester State (Saturday, October 28th) for MASCAC contests.
