Summer fun is in full swing on Cape Cod, and as waves crash ashore under the hot sun, preparations continue for the 2017 Buccaneer football season that kicks off in less than two months.

Head Coach Jeremy Cameron will once again tackle a 10-game slate during his 13^th campaign at the helm, as the 45^th season of Massachusetts Maritime football begins on Friday, September 8^th when the Buccaneers entertain SUNY-Maritime in the 10^th Annual Chowder Bowl at Clean Harbors Stadium that kicks off at 7:00 pm EDT.  Cameron’s crew will also host Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference foes Fitchburg State (Saturday, September 30^th), Plymouth State (Saturday, October 21^st) and UMass Dartmouth (Saturday, November 4^th) on Taylor’s Point before wrapping up regular season play by welcoming rival Bridgewater State to the banks of the Cape Cod Canal for the 39^th Annual Ocean Spray Cranberry Bowl on Saturday, November 11^th.

The Buccaneers hit the road for the 45^th Annual Admiral’s Cup clash with Maine Maritime on Saturday, September 16^th, and Massachusetts Maritime will also travel to Framingham State (Saturday, September 23^rd), Westfield State (Saturday, October 7^th), Western Connecticut (Saturday, October 14^th) and Worcester State (Saturday, October 28^th) for MASCAC contests.
