Six Buccaneers Named to MASCAC Sportsmanship Team

WESTFIELD, Mass -- 55 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes, six Buccaneers, have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2022 Fall Sportsmanship Team.
 
The MASCAC Sportsmanship Team is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each team, in every sport that best demonstrates the values of the MASCAC and its Sportsmanship Statement, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season. 
 
"I want to applaud the 55 student-athletes from across the seven teams who were recognized on the 2022 Fall MASCAC Sportsmanship Team", Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "These student-athletes exemplified exceptional sportsmanship values which are very important to our conference.  We are honored to recognize these individuals for exhibiting these honorable traits."
 
The sports that are represented on the fall team are men's and women's cross country, football, men's golf, men's and women's soccer and volleyball. A student-athlete from each institution is selected by their coach to be placed on the Sportsmanship Team.
 
The student-athletes representing the Buccaneers are as follows:
