WESTFIELD, Mass -- Monday afternoon, the MASCAC announced their wwekly award winners for the week of August 29th through september 4th. Though no Buccaneer won an award, three were named to the MASCAC Weekly Honor Roll for their performances last week. 

Men's Soccer sophomore forward, Ryan Soughou, scored his first and the Bucs first goal of the year in a 2-1 setback to Regis College. He scored in the 24th minute to tie the game at 1-1.

Women's Soccer senior Captain and midfielder, Julia Podchaiski, scored the first goal of the season for the Bucs just before the halftime whistle against Dean College on Saturday in the 1-1 tie.

Volleyball sophomore Captain, Marlo Stark, recorded 15 kills, an assist, two service aces and 34 digs on defense. In a win over the AMCATS she recorded 12 kills, with an assist, two service aces and an outstanding 21 digs. She posted a .186 hitting percentage in the win. On the day, she recorded 15 kills, an assist, two service aces and 34 digs on defense. She finished the day with a .097 hitting percentage and 4.86 digs per set in a 1-1 start to the season for Maritime.
