The Massachusetts Maritime women’s cross country program made great strides under Head Coach Elizabeth Sullivan a year ago, and the second year mentor looks to keep that momentum going in 2017 as her Buccaneers prepare for a challenging schedule that features six regular season races building up to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference championships in late October.

Sullivan’s squad begins the new campaign on Saturday, September 9^th at the University of New England Invitational, and after trips to both UMass Dartmouth and Gordon, Massachusetts Maritime will host the annual Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational in a new venue for the first time ever, as the race will take place at the Massachusetts Military Reservation in Bourne on Friday, September 29^th.  Following visits to Westfield State and Emmanuel in early October, the Buccaneers return to Westfield State on Saturday, October 28^th to compete for the 2017 MASCAC crown at Stanley Park.
