Are You Not Entertained by Liam Higgins' Sixth Place Finish at the NEICAAA Meet
WORCESTER, Mass -- Buccaneers javelin thrower Liam Higgins competed in the NEICAAA Alliance Championship on Friday morning and picked up a sixth place finish amongst the top javelin throwers across all three NCAA Divisions.
Higgins Threw over 60 meters in his qualifying throw finishing fourth in his flight. In the finals of the javelin throw, Higgins tossed 61.27 meters for a sixth place finish ahead of the top thrower from Holy Cross by more than three meters and was less than a meter behind Liam Bourassa of Fitchburg State.
Liam will throw at the NCAA Division III National meet in two weeks. Prior to that meet, Higgins will throw at MIT next Thursday in the Last Chance Qualifier.
