WESTFIELD, Mass -- The MASCAC announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon and Buccaneers freshman forward Luke Twomey has been named Conference Rookie of the Week.

In two games last week, Twomey scored a goal and had an assist for the Bucs. In a draw with Fitchburg State on Friday, Luke scored a goal in the 26th minute that put the Buccaneers up 1-0 at the time. Earlier in the week, he assisted on a goal in a Maritime loss to Nichols.

This is Twomey's first time winning a conference award in his Bucs career.
