Women's Cross Country Set For Seven Event Slate In Sullivan's Second Season This Fall

The Massachusetts Maritime women’s cross country program made great strides under Head Coach Elizabeth Sullivan a year ago, and the second year mentor looks to keep that momentum going in 2017 as her Buccaneers prepare for a challenging schedule that features six regular season races building up to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference championships in late October.

Sullivan’s squad begins the new campaign on Saturday, September 9th at the University of New England Invitational, and after trips to both UMass Dartmouth and Gordon, Massachusetts Maritime will host the annual Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational in a new venue for the first time ever, as the race will take place at the Massachusetts Military Reservation in Bourne on Friday, September 29th.  Following visits to Westfield State and Emmanuel in early October, the Buccaneers return to Westfield State on Saturday, October 28th to compete for the 2017 MASCAC crown at Stanley Park.
