Women's Cross Country Set For Seven Race Slate In Sullivan's Inaugural Campaign This Fall

A familiar face looks to continue the tradition of success that the Massachusetts Maritime women’s cross country program has enjoyed over the years, as former Buccaneer standout and assistant coach Elizabeth Sullivan is set to begin her first season as the program’s head coach this fall.  Sullivan’s squad will tackle a six-event regular season slate in 2016 that will lead up to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference championships in late October.

Massachusetts Maritime begins the new campaign on Saturday, September 10th at the University of New England Invitational, and following events at both UMass Dartmouth and Gordon, Sullivan’s crew will host the Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational on Saturday, October 1st alongside the Cape Cod Canal.  The Buccaneers will wrap up regular season competition with invitationals at both Westfield State and Emmanuel before heading to Fitchburg State on Saturday, October 29th to make a run for this year’s MASCAC championship.
