Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Announced

The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Department of Athletics is proud to annouce the Hall of Fame Class of 2022. The five member class will be inducted in the Fall of 2022. Congratulations to our five Hall of Fame selections! Read more about each of them below.

Steve Flanagan (1982) -- Volunteered in the Athletic Training room for nearly 25 years, helping on Saturday's with the football team. He has been a long time contributor to The Academy along with his nearly three decades of volunteer service to Athletics. He is a 1982 graduate of the Academy.
 
Kyle Ingersoll (Cross Country, 2009) -- Kyle was a part of Chris Ryan's 2005 MASCAC Championship Team. That year, he was named MASCAC Rookie of the Year. In 2006 and 2007 he was selected to the MASCAC All-Conference team. He was also a two-time All-New England Alliance selection. Kyle was the 2009 MMA Male Athlete of the Year.
 
John Moriarty (Football, 2014) -- John was a member of the Capital One All-Academic Team in 2013. Also in 2013, He was selected to the D3football.com All-East All Region team, named a New England Football Writers Association All-Star and was a member of the Hampshire Honor Society. He was an All-Conference Player in 2013.
 
Kyle Kennedy (Baseball, 2016) -- Kyle was selected to the Capital One D3 Baseball Academic All-District Team in 2015. In 2016, he was selected to the D3Baseball.com National Team of the Week and was named the NEIBA Pitcher of the Week in the same week. He was named to the D3Baseball.com All-Region Team his senior Year. Kennedy was a two-time All-Conference selection in the MASCAC in 2014 and 2015. He was a part of the 2015 MASCAC Championship team, was a team captain in 2016, and was MMA Male Athlete of the Year.
 
Katie Levesque (Women's Soccer, 2016) --  Katie earned MASCAC All-Conference honors in each of her four seasons in a Buccaneer uniform. In 2013 and 2014 she earned NSCAA All-Region selections. She was captain of the 2015 women's soccer team was named 2016 MMA Female Athlete of the Year and continues to hold every goalie record in program history.
