Lowell, MA -- In the first of two straight regattas at UMass Lowell on Saturday, the Buccaneers women's rowing team put together a solid showing against hosts UMass Lowell.

With a final time of 8:08.9, the Maritime shell with senior captains Colleen Weir and Meghan Reilly, Nikki Awalt and Mariana Gubert finished 20 seconds ahead of the Riverhawk boat to take first place in their varsity women's fours race.

The Buccaneers will be back at UMass Lowell on Saturday, April 16th.
