Sailing: Bucs Finish Seventh at Harman Trophy

CASTINE, Maine -- In the second set of races Maine Maritime hosted this weekend, the Harman Trophy consisted of eight boats from seven schools. The teams got started with the events in their Colgates around 1:30pm and completed four races. The Buccaneers had a tough four races as they finished seventh on the day. The two-day event was called after one day due to their being no wind on Sunday.

The Bucs picked up 26 points in the four races. Bowdoin finished in first with six points, one point ahead of Maine Maritime's A boat. The Maine B boat came in third with Tufts and URI right behind them. Northeastern barely beat the Bucs with 24 points. The Bucs narrowly avoided an eighth place finish, squeeking by Salve Regina by two points.
