Softball Swept by Salem in Season Finale
SALEM, MA -- The Buccaneers traveled to Salem State on Saturday to play the final two games of their 2022 season. Playing strong against the Vikings, the Bucs fell in game one, 3-0, and 10-2 in game two.

How It Happened
Salem scored in the bottom of the second inning on a passed ball to give the Vikes a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, the hosts scored two more on a Eisnor single and an error that followed.
Salem went on to win game one, 3-0.

How It Happened
Salem scored once in the bottom of the first to take a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the second they added three more runs on singles to the outfield.
Down 4-0, Maritime got a run back on a Roberts-Capak single that scored Pope. Salem scored twice i nthe bottom of the third to extend their lead to five runs, 6-1.
The Bucs scored again in the top of the fifth on a Pittsley single that scored Camelo. Salem extended the lead again in the bottom of the fifth scoring two more to go up 8-2 afted five.
In the bottom of the sixth with one out, the Vikings scored two runs to end the game by run rule, 10-2.
