NEW BEDFORD, MA -- On the weekend of June 4th and 5th, the Buccaneers sailing team continued their "summer series" of events at the Whaler's Race at the New Bedford Yacht Club. In a field of seven boats, the Buccaneers finished third overall.

"High Definition" finished third with a time of 15:15:58, just six second behind the second place finisher. 

The Whaler's Race dates back to 1932 and starts and finishes outside Padanaram Harbor and includes marks off Cuttyhunk ISland, Nomans Land and Block Island. 

The Bucs continue their summer schedule on June 25th in the "Round The Island" race in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard.
