Four Bucs Selected to LEC All-Conference Teams

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Wednesday morning, the Little East Conference released their 2024 men's lacrosse postseason honors with four Buccaneers receiving honors.

Quinn Mucha (Barnstable, MA), the LEC Rookie of the Year, Daniel Kane (Marshfield, MA), and James Cassidy (Weymouth, MA) have all been selected to the All-LEC second team for 2024. Faceoff man Brian Rosher (Bridgewater, MA) was selected as an Honorable Mention as a specialist. 

Mucha finished his rookie campaign with 43 goals and 33 assists for 76 total points. He had a power play goal and a short-handed goal to his credit. Quinn added 23 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers from his attack position.

Kane's season was outstanding as he netted 48 goals and had 41 assists for 89 total points. He notched four power play goals and one shorty. Dan picked up 29 ground balls and caused four turnovers.

This is Cassidy's second appearance in consecutive seasons on the All-LEC second team as he is known around the conference as one of the best defenders, often defending the opposing team's best attacker. This season in 13 games, James had an assists, 26 ground balls, and 18 caused turnovers.

Rosher was often a problem for opposing faceoff takers in the LEC. He won 210 of 360 (58.3%) faceoffs this season and picked up 118 ground balls. Off of faceoffs, he notched two goals and an assist on the season for the Bucs.
