LOWELL, Mass -- Sunday morning, the Buccaneer men's rowing team took to the water in Lowell for the Textile River Regatta. With three boats in the field, the Buccaneers shells all finished in the top five of the race, second, fourth, and fifth.

The second place boat finished with a final time of 15:04.949, 11 second behind the first place shell. The Bucs second boat, finishing in fourth, came across the finish line with a time of 17:30.565. The final MMA shell crossed at 17:53.866 in fifth place. 

CRI finished first in the race with a time of 14:53.715 and Merchant Marine split up the Maritime boats in third place with a time of 15:09.959, five second behind the Bucs first boat.

The Buccaneers are back on the water next weekend at the Head of the Snake Regatta in Worcester.
