Men's Rowing Finishes 41st at Head of the Charles

BOSTON, Mass -- The prestigious Head of The Charles Regatta was held over the weekend and the Buccaneer men's rowing team took part in the Men's Collegiate Eights race on Sunday at 1:55pm. In a field filled with the best of the best collegiate eights boats, Dane Franke and crew finished 41st overall. 

The Bucs boat was coxswained by Pablo Hruska-Cleary and rowed by Franke, Eric MayersFinn McQueeneyNoah MyersNicholas MurphyNicholas GlotfeltyMatthew White and Sam Worthley. The crew finished with a time of 18:29.010 with a one minute penalty.

"It was a great experience for our rowers to row against some of the best of the best rowers from around the collegiate rowing world," said head coach John Edwards. "We had a great time and we performed well. We cannot wait to go back and show off our skills." Added coach Edwards.

The Buccaneers have two events remaining this fall in Worcester, MA and Princeton, N.J.
