Men's Rowing Competes at Quinsigamond Snake Regatta

WORCESTER, Mass -- Men's rowing competed in the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Saturday competing in the men's collegiate novice fours, the men's collegiate fours, and the men's collegiate eights.

In the novice fours race, the Bucs finished sixth with a time of 20:30.956. URI won the race with a time of 16:50.09. UConn and Boston College rounded out the top three.

The Bucs finished 15th in the collegiate fours race with a time of 19:09.443. URI won this event as well with a time of 15:17.677. Boston College and UMass Amherst rounded out the top three.

Finally, in a field of 29 boats, the Buccaneers finished 23rd with a time of 14:59.787, 14 seconds ahead of the UMass boat and just nine second behind the Boston College B boat. Holy Cross won the event with a time of 13:13.508. MIT came in second with Williams in third.

 

The Buccaneers will race in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday, October 23rd.
