Men's Rowing Opened their Season at the Head of the Riverfront

HARTFORD, CT -- On Sunday, the men's rowing team opened their 2022 Fall season at the Head of The Riverfront in Connecticut. While the men's varsity eight and four boats struggled against stiff competition, the men's novice fours boat finished first in their event.

The men's novice fours brought home the gold medal from the event with a first place finish with a time of 19:01.21.

The men's varsity eight-man boat finished 17th in a field of 18 boats. Tufts led the way with an 11:23.72 time. Maritime finished at 13:22.39, less than two seconds behind Vassar in 16th and 6.5 seconds ahead of UConn who finished 18th. 

Men's varsity fours finished fourth in their race at 15:59.94, behind Bowdoin College. UConn came in first in the race with a time of 13:05.30.

The Bucs are at head of the Housatonic in New Haven, Connecticut this coming Saturday.
