METHUEN, MA -- Buccaneers men's rowing took part in the Merrimack Scrimmage on Sunday morning competing in the varsity four and the novie eights. Both races were on 2000 meter courses with great water conditions on the Merrimack River.

In the Varsity fours race with two URI boats, the Bucs finished in third place with a final time of 6:25, 12 second behind the URI B boat and 23 second behind the URI A boat.

In the novice eights race with URI and Merrimack, the Bucs secured a third place finish once again with a time of 7:06. This was 52 seconds behind the hosts Merrimack. The URI boat in first won with a final time of 5:37. 

The Buccaneers travel to Lowell, MA next weekend for a regatta hosted by UMass Lowell.
