How It Happened
Worcester hit home runs in the top of the second and top off the third off the bats of Sorenti-Burns and Chaves Jr.
Down 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, the Bucs scored on a bases-loaded walk of Tropea and an RBI single from Doyle to tie the game at 2-2. The Bucs added another run in the bottom of the fifth on a Pietrafesa single that scored Sylvia to give the Bucs a 3-2 lead.
In the top of the seventh, the Lancers got a third home run from Ausiello to tie the game. Devin then doubles down the right field line to bring DiBattista in to score and take a 4-3 lead.
Maritime were unable to erase the deficit and dropped game one of the three-game series to the Lancers.
