Bio
John Moriarty started his collegiate career in the fall of 2012 in Minnesota with the University of St. Thomas. With two years of eligibility left, he decided to come play for the buccaneers. He is a native of Wilmington, Massachusetts. John made an immediate impact on his teammates and the league. When playing on the field, the bucs had one of the nations top leaders in rushing yards and total offense. In his junior year, he was a National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete nominee, and had spots on both the New England Football Conference and MASCAC Fall All-Academic team. EH also was on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. In his final season at Mass Maritime, John was named to the MASCAC 1st team all conference, D3Football.com 3rd All-East Region team, New England Football Writers Association All-star, and a member of the Hampshire Honor Society All Star team. Off the field, he was named to the Capital One All-Academic Team.
