Bio
Kauserud, from Quincy Massachusetts, previously studied at Quincy High School. He played on the football team for two years and the rowing team for one. He was an exceptional battalion commander as well. Upon graduation he went on to play football for the University Wisconsin. Robert was a Korean War veteran as a boat group commander for amphibious landings in the USN. During Robert's time in Howell he helped start Jr. football and was very active in little league baseball by coaching several teams over 15 years and organized Howell Youth Day in 1971 to save the program. In retirement Robert traveled however remained active in the Mass. Maritime Academy community.
