Bio
Niall enters his first season as an assistant with the Buccaneer women's soccer program.
O'Donnell was the head coach at UMass-Dartmouth from 1997-2000. In 2000 he was named Litte East Conference (LEC) Coach of the Year, finishing the season 16-6-1. From 2005-2008 O'Donnell had several successful seasons as the Boy's soccer coach at Somerset High School. He previously served as the Director of Coaching for Nor'Easter Soccer Club.
Prior to coaching, Niall played professionally in Ireland with Athy Town and Saint Patrick's Club while also spending time in the LASA League in the United States.
Niall is no stranger to the Academy as his son Rory is a 2011 Graduate of Mass Maritime.
O'Donnell currently resides in Onset with his wife and will soon be retiring from The Wood School in Swansea, Mass.
