FINAL:              MASSACHUSETTS MARITIME 0, WHEELOCK 0 (DOUBLE OVERTIME)

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Junior Katie Levesque (Wilmot, N.H.) made four saves to record her third shutout of the season as Massachusetts Maritime and Wheelock battled to a scoreless double overtime non-league college women’s soccer draw Tuesday evening at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Levesque notched her ninth career shutout in the tie for the host Buccaneers (1-4-2), as she made three stops in the final 45 minutes of regulation and added a breakaway save in the second extra session.  Sophomore Madeleine Grover (Jamaica Plain, Mass.) recorded her first shutout of the year by making 20 stops, including six on breakaways, in the draw for the visiting Wildcats (1-4-1), as she made 18 saves in regulation alone.  The tie was the first in the seven-match series between the two schools, as Massachusetts Maritime is 4-0-1 in its last five meetings with Wheelock dating back to 2010.

Massachusetts Maritime hosts Bay Path in a non-league outing on Thursday evening at Clean Harbors Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m., while Wheelock hosts Mount Ida in a non-league match on Thursday evening at Sweeney Field in Boston that begins at 8:00 p.m.
