Courcy, Levesque Earn Spots On 2012 MASCAC Women's Soccer All-Conference Team

Buzzards Bay, Mass. --  Two members of the Massachusetts Maritime women’s soccer team earned spots on the 2012 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer all-conference squad that was announced earlier today by the league office.

Senior Kim Courcy (Warwick, R.I./Warwick) earned first-team all-conference accolades as a back, as she started all 14 contests for Head Coach Ray Cabral’s Buccaneers and played at the forward, back and goalkeeper positions at one point during her career.  Freshman Katie Levesque (Wilmot, N.H./Kearsarge Regional) was named to the second-team all-MASCAC squad at goalkeeper, as she led the conference with 169 saves and notched a pair of victories during her rookie campaign, including a 3-0 shutout triumph over Pine Manor on October 12th.

Cabral has now mentored four all-MASCAC performers in his two seasons at Massachusetts Maritime, including Colleen Fissette ’12 and junior forward Lauren Salem (Westfield, Mass./Westfield), who earned the accolades in 2011.
