Buccaneers finished third with a score of 281 at the Atlantic Coast Tournament hosted by Eckerd College.

The Buccaneers arrived in Florida to finish the fall season at the Atlantic Coast Tournament hosted by Eckerd College. Sailors were greeted with a 10 knot North Easterly to start racing. Alex Bowen and Sydney Clays sailed in A division while Christos Karplus skippered for Megan Laurie in B division. After 6 races the big breeze came knocking and Captain Sergio Gratta and freshman Thomas Dunn answered the door.  The duo crewed for Alex and Christos for races 7-10. Saturday ended with the Bucs sitting in a tie for 3rd place with the Florida State University Seminoles.

Conditions Sunday were overcast with an unstable North Easterly for the final 6 races of the regatta. The breeze started light and the ladies were in the boats again.  After 4 races the breeze slowly built and Gratta was back with Alex to finish off the regatta. The Bucs finished 3rd overall with 281 points after 16 races.
