BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- The Buccaneers and Bears met in conference play and on Senior Night for the Bucs on Friday night on Taylor's Point

Maritime

How It Happened

The Bears struck first and early with Norton's goal in the 12th minute. With a total of seven shots between the teams in the first half, Bridgewater kept their 1-0 lead until the break.

In the second half, The Buccaneers struck back thanks to a great pass over the top from Ginnetty to Calvert that he dribbled past a defender and put the ball over the keeper into the net for his fifth goal of the season and tied the game at 1-1. It didn't take long after Calvert's goal for the Bears to retake the lead with Ribeiro scoring in the 55th minute to give the visitors a 2-1 lead. An exciting final 34 minutes with a combined 18 shots in the second half, neither team could find the net again. Maritime had their chances but fell by the 2-1 final to the undefeated in conference Bears.
