Men's Soccer Prepares For Another Rigorous Schedule In Perry's 23rd Campaign This Fall

After earning its second straight berth in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference semifinals last fall, the Massachusetts Maritime men’s soccer team is looking to continue its run at both a league crown and NCAA tournament berth in veteran Head Coach Greg Perry’s 23rd season in 2015.  The Buccaneers are preparing for another rigorous 17-match slate that features competition against some of the top squads in the region.

Massachusetts Maritime begins the new season on Tuesday, September 1st by hosting WPI in a non-league clash at Clean Harbors Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m. EDT.  Perry’s crew will entertain Wentworth, Nichols, Coast Guard and UMass Boston in non-conference play, and the Buccaneers will travel to Becker, Anna Maria, Salve Regina, UMass Dartmouth and Brandeis for non-league matches.

The MASCAC season kicks off on Friday, September 18th when Massachusetts Maritime hosts Worcester State for a 7:00 p.m. EDT contest, and the Buccaneers will also welcome Salem State, Framingham State and Westfield State to Cape Cod for conference play.  Perry’s squad will head to Bridgewater State, Fitchburg State and MCLA for MASCAC clashes as well this fall.
