BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Freshman Robert Dalby (Ludlow, Mass.) netted a goal and an assist to lead MCLA to a 4-0 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference men's soccer victory over Massachusetts Maritime Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Senior Joe Deady (Belchertown, Mass.) gave the visiting Trailblazers (5-4-1, 1-2-1 MASCAC) the only goal they would need 3:50 into the contest after converting a throw-in by freshman Ryan Shewchuk (Springfield, Mass.), and Dalby extended that margin to 2-0 4:30 into the second half on a feed from sophomore Casey Baker (North Adams, Mass.).  Freshman Scott Winslow's (Lincoln, R.I.) first collegiate goal in the 62nd minute on a pass from sophomore Liroy Ozinci (Plainview, N.Y.) gave MCLA a 3-0 edge, and freshman George Sullivan's (Milton, Mass.) first collegiate tally on a Dalby assist in the 72nd minute closed out the scoring.

Senior Evan Coe (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) picked up his fifth win of the season by making five saves over the first 79-plus minutes in net for MCLA, as junior Adam Tarsa (Adams, Mass.) made one stop over the final 10-plus minutes of action for the visitors.  Sophomore Mark Mullaney (Bridgewater, Mass.) made three saves in 77-plus minutes of play in the setback for the host Buccaneers (4-6-1, 0-4 MASCAC), who held a 14-9 edge in shots over the Trailblazers for the afternoon.

Massachusetts Maritime travels to North Dartmouth, Mass. on Thursday evening to take on UMass Dartmouth in a non-league outing that begins at 7:00 p.m., while MCLA hosts Skidmore in a non-league match on Wednesday afternoon in North Adams, Mass. beginning at 3:30 p.m.
