BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Sophomore Ryan Fischer's (Marshfield, Mass.) goal 1:36 into overtime lifted Massachusetts Maritime to a 1-0 non-league college men's soccer victory over Eastern Nazarene Tuesday evening at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Fischer converted a feed from junior Paul Mullis (Marshfield, Mass.) from 10 yards out to give the host Buccaneers (3-1-1) the triumph and extend their unbeaten streak to three straight with his fourth goal of the season.  Sophomore Mark Mullaney (Bridgewater, Mass.) made that stand up in goal for Massachusetts Maritime, as he made one save in regulation to record his first collegiate shutout and third win of the season.

Junior Andrew Trice (Quincy, Mass.) made six stops in net in the setback for the visiting Lions (0-6), as the Buccaneers outshot Eastern Nazarene by a 17-4 margin for the match, including a 10-2 edge in the second half and overtime period.

Massachusetts Maritime opens MASCAC play on Saturday afternoon by heading to Salem, Mass. to take on Salem State in a league outing that begins at Noon, while Eastern Nazarene hosts Wentworth in a Commonwealth Coast Conference match on Saturday afternoon in Quincy, Mass. that begins at 2:00 p.m.
