The host Raiders (6-2) jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the opening 8:51 of action, but the visiting Buccaneers (4-4) scored six of the contest’s next eight goals to take a 6-5 lead on freshman Cody Livermore’s (Ludlow, Mass.) marker with 5:15 remaining in the first half.  Freshman Colby Larsen (Windham, N.H.) tallied twice in a 1:04 span to give Rivier a 7-6 lead at the break, and the hosts took control of the contest with five unanswered third quarter goals, including two off the stick of sophomore Ryan Coombs (Derry, N.H.), to ice their triumph, as Massachusetts Maritime got no closer than the final margin in the last 15 minutes of action.

Coombs and sophomore Tyler Tambouris (Hooksett, N.H.) each finished with hat tricks and an assist for four points for the Raiders, who also received a marker and three helpers from senior Kyle Graham (Londonderry, N.H.).  Senior Cody Lynch (Salem, N.H.) tallied as well in the win for Rivier, which received four assists off the stick of sophomore Joe Kelland (Watertown, Mass.).
