Massachusetts Maritime Academy had eight men's lacrosse players named to the 2008 Pilgrim Lacrosse League's All-Academic Team. Seniors defenseman Rory Binder (Media, PA) and midfielder Jake Caplin (Vernon, CT) received the honor, along with junior defender Michael Chretien (Falmouth, MA) and junior attackman John Herman (Stamford, CT). Also earning recognition for the Buccaneers were sophomore attackmen Brian and Connor Burke (Del Mar, CA).

Two freshmen were honored with defenseman Mark Robinson (Wilbraham, MA) and attackman Taylor Sears (Scituate, MA) receiving recognition. Forty-four men's lacrosse players were named to the 2008 Pilgrim Lacrosse League All-Academic squad. In order to make the team, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2.
