Five goals by U-Mass Boston (4-9) in the opening quarter put Massachusetts Maritime Academy (4-8) at an early disadvantage as the Beacons claimed the win by a score of 10-6.

Jared Kinch (Cohasset, MA) scored three goals to lead U-Mass, who held a 7-4 advantage by the half.

The Buccaneers bounced back scoring twice in the third quarter, but couldnt get closer that 8-6. The Beacons controlled the final 15 minutes scoring two more times.

Ed Klodarska (Media, PA) led the Bucs with two goals. Brian Burke (Del Mar, CA) had a goal and two assists for MMA.

John Ruiz (Longmeadow, MA), Bobby Cussack (Braintree, MA), and Nick Thomo (Brookfield, MA) all contributed two goals apiece to the winning effort.

Aaron Pollock (Belmont, MA) earned the win in goal for the Beacons, while James Hitchings (Dover, MA) took the loss for the Bucs.

Connor Burke (Del Mar, CA), Matt Sullivan (Marshfield, MA), John Herman (Stanford, CT) and Taylor Sears (Scituate, MA) rounded out the scoring for the Buccaneers.
