
Mahoney, Boozer, Kromenhoek Earn All-MASCAC Spots
WESTFIELD, Mass -- The MASCAC announced their football All-Conference teams on Thursday with three Buccaneer defenders named. Sophomore Jackson Mahoney was selected to the first team with Demetri Boozer and Mac Kromenhoek earning second team spots.
Mahoney played in all 10 games for the Buccaneers this season making 48 tackles, second on the Bucs, with 32 of the solo variety and 16 assisted tackles. He added 10 tackles for loss and two pass breakups. All of this earned him his first All-Conference selection and the only Buccaneer to appear on the First Team for 2024.
A senior defensive back, Boozer has earned his first all-conference spot in his career this year. He tallied 44 tackles, 23 solo and 21 assists, recorded one tackle for loss, forced a fumble, had one interception and five pass breakups. He was also a big part of the Buccaneers special teams blocking three kicks this season.
Kromenhoek, a junior defensive lineman, racked up 25 tackles in 2024 with a team-high four sacks and nine tackles for loss. He also forced two fumbles and had one pass break up leading to the juniors first All-Conference bid.
