One of region’s top running backs will serve as a Buccaneer co-captain this season...Earned first-team all-MASCAC accolades in 2015 with 1,211 rushing yards and a school-record 15 rushing touchdowns (16 overall)...Recorded three 200-plus yard performances last fall, including career-high 240 yards in 48-27 win over Plymouth State (11/17/15)...MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week after tying school record with four rushing TD’s in 35-31 triumph at Worcester State (9/26/15)...Added 212 yards and three scores (including career-long 87-yard scamper) in Admiral’s Cup setback at Maine Maritime (9/19/15)...Led team with 534 yards on the ground on just 76 carries in 2014, averaging seven yards per attempt while scoring four touchdowns...Broke off then career-best 81 yard run as part of 186 yard effort in 46-41 win at UMass Dartmouth (10/25/14)...Three-time MASCAC Rookie of the Week honoree also rushed for 149 yards on just 19 carries in 27-7 triumph at Plymouth State (11/8/14)...Also hauled in five receptions for 57 yards and a score...Facilities Engineering major serves on Buccaneer Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...Son of Kenneth and Carolyn Pierce...Oldest of four siblings...Three-time all-conference selection at Beverly High, where he also earned Salem News and Lynn Daily Item all-scholastic honors...Agganis All-Star also named as ESPN Boston Player of the Week during senior season.
