Bio
Derek was the captain of his high school football team his senior year. He was also the defensive MVP and an All-Western Massachusetts All-Star. He saw action in all 10 games with the Buccaneers in 2007, where he was credited with 35 tackles and one pass break-up. An honor roll student at Springfield's High School of Science & Technology, he enjoys all sports. His favorite professional sports team is the New England Patriots.
