Massachusetts Maritime Academy (21-13) was selected as the #3 seed in the 2008 ECAC Baseball Tournament and will face #2 seed Wentworth Institute of Technology in the first round at 4:00 PM on Friday, May 9,at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. It will be the first post-season appearance for the Bucs since 1996.

A win in the double elimination format would put the Bucs back in action at 2:00 PM on Saturday at RWU. A loss would mean an 11:00 AM game on Saturday in Bristol.

Host Roger Williams will open play against the winner of the Brandeis - Rivier game scheduled for Wednesday. Complete tournament information can be found on the ECAC web site (www.ecac.org).

MMA faced Wentworth in the regular season and lost 19-11 after taking a lead of 11-5 through four innings.
